Predica’s developers, together with Microsoft team, are engaged in designing and deploying a data-driven service aimed at optimizing specified parts of the supply chain management.
The application crafted for our client precisely tracks the shipping roots in real time and alerts the operators in case there is any disruptions (like traffic, accidents, strikes) or potential risks of natural disasters that might threaten the delivery to be right on time.
This early-warning application is built entirely on cloud data integration service. It orchestrates and automates the transformation of raw data into ready-to-use information. It is then further processed by big data analytics and machine learning. What the app’s engine exactly does is to gather and analyze the Internet news and weather forecasts to match the data records with the high-risk spots being localized with the GPS.
In addition, the application transforms the register of assigned supplies into interactive vessels’ or trucks’ widgets popping up on an interactive map for the roots monitoring purposes.
